Criteria for Admissions

Providence Cristo Rey High School welcomes students who are motivated and committed to preparing for college. PCRHS students thrive in an environment where questions and participation are part of the learning process.  They want their ideas fostered in a strong support system of teachers, counselors and peers. PCRHS students are excited to be placed in the Corporate Work Study setting to experience what life will be like after college.

Our incoming students' grades range from average to outstanding. Students who are best prepared for a college preparatory education maintain a C average, or show other significant accomplishments if their grades are slightly lower.

We carefully review academic, discipline, and attendance records from the applicant's previous schools that demonstrate a student's commitment to learn and to make good choices in contributing to the learning environment. Each student who chooses to follow through on the admissions process will be interviewed.
