Jay Snyder Hired as Vice President for Institutional Advancement

Jay Snyder has been hired as Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Previously, he spent 28 years as a co-owner of Sullivan's Hardware, an Indianapolis-based, multi-location hardware, lawn and garden store chain. 
 
In his role with Providence Cristo Rey High School, Snyder will be developing and maintaining school funding partnerships, including the school's 95+ Corporate Work Study Partners. 
 
Snyder says, "While discerning new opportunities, I realized the most fulfilling times in my work life were when children or young adults were involved. I have coached and employed young adults in Indianapolis for years, and watching them all grow and mature over the years has been meaningful to me. I am thrilled to continue to impact young adults in this city as part of Providence Cristo Rey High School's advancement team."
 
Originally from Indianapolis, Snyder graduated from North Central High School. He studied business at the University of Evansville and IUPUI. 
 
He is a member of St. Luke Evangelist Parish, where he served on the Parish Council for three years. He is involved in Indianapolis CYO Sports and First Baptist Church of Indianapolis Youth Sports.
