Affordability & Graduation/College Acceptance Rate

An Affordable Catholic, College Prep High School
Providence Cristo Rey High School is the only co-educational college preparatory high school in Indiana that is also part of the national Cristo Rey Network of schools. Our academically challenging curriculum prepares your child for college. We offer Core 40 and Core 40 with Academic Honors diplomas. We also meet the curriculum standards of the Cristo Rey Network, resulting in our students exceeding the graduation requirements in most subject areas. Many of our juniors and seniors are taking dual credit courses at IUPUI and Marian University.

Our distinctive Corporate Work Study Program gives students skills that prepare them for a professional career.

Add to this our Catholic faith tradition, which recognizes the important role that faith plays in educating the whole person. While over 80 percent of our students belong to other faith traditions, we all work together to grow in our understanding of love, justice, and mercy. In the tradition of a Catholic school we not only have high expectations and quality teaching, we also share our hope for a more just society.

Success Beyond Graduation
100 percent of PCRHS senior classes have been accepted to college. Collectively, they have been awarded over $3.5 million dollars in college scholarships and grants (this does not include Pell grants or 21st Century Scholarships); this equates to an average of $78,000 per student. In comparison, the Bureau of Labor Statistics cites that in 2009 only 70 percent of high school completers in the U.S. continued on to college.

We offer many benefits that you and your child cannot get at any other high school.
