Second Annual Dinner, Silent Auction, and $10,000 Reverse Auction a Big Success

Thank you to all who attended our annual fundraiser, Rounding Up the Stars of the Future, on May 29. Preliminary calculations suggest that we will have made significantly more on this year's event than we did last year, thanks to your generosity!

NET INCOME FROM THE EVENT WILL BE MATCHED BY THE GLICK FUND CHALLENGE GRANT!

We are deeply appreciative of all of our Corporate Sponsors: Dauby, O’Connor & Zaleski; St. Vincent Health; Keith and Sara Faller; and Lumina Foundation. These sponsors have been so generous to us in so many ways, and for that we are enormously grateful. And an enormous thank you to the Glick Fund, a Fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation, for their challenge grant which will match the net proceeds!

Thank you as well to the Northside K of C and Brad Elson for donating the space In addition, our drinks were very generously been donated by Monarch Beverage, National Wine and Spirits, and Olinger Distributors. Sahm’s Catering provided a substantial discount on the dinner. Blue Line Security kept us secure, and Bowman Transportation kindly transported our students home.

We certainly want to extend special thanks to our co-chairpersons and avid supporters of the school, Dr. Michael Morelli and Mr. Kris Griffith, who have co-chaired this event for two years. We also owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Jenny Matthews, our Director of Special Events, and Janet Queally, who, with our Circle of Angels of Providence, spent countless hours soliciting and processing donations for the event and doing all the labor to make it all happen. Thanks, too, to Dauby, O’Connor & Zaleski whose employees donated significant “behind the scenes” time and provided music for the event.

Because of the generosity of so many people, we have exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much for helping us, for in doing so you have, indeed, helped us to "Round up the stars of the future."

You can help us meet The Challenge!

The Glick Fund, a Fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation, awarded us a $405,000 challenge grant to be used for general operating costs, transportation to/from the worksites, expansion of academic support in reading and math, the creation of a dual credit program, and the establishment of the Glick Scholarship Fund. Every donation will be matched, dollar for dollar, by the Glick Fund, up to $405,000. We are getting close to reaching our goal and would like to do so by June 30. Your donation will help us reach our goal! Every gift, no matter how large or small, will be welcome and will be put to good use as we work to build a brighter future for our students.
